Thanks again to Sarah and the Music Victoria team for shipping me off to Ballarat for a wonderful edition of the Live Music Professionals conference.

I did an introductory masterclass on advertising for live music, specifically for venue owners, venue managers and band bookers. The hour-long session covered SMART goals, matching metrics to those goals, creating a plan, understanding your performance… and knowing when things are absolutely outside of your control.
